The Labour and Social Security Inspectorate of Las PalmasTogether with the Civil Guard, in collaboration with the Local Police of Mogán, he carried out an extensive control operation in several leisure areas of Arguineguín, the Puerto Rico Shopping Center and the Europa Shopping Center (Mogán).
The device stood out for its excellentinterinstitutional coordination.The participants included members of the Civil Guard, the Mogan Local Police, who contributed a canine unit and a drone, as well as personnel from the State Agency for Labour and Social Security Inspection.
The operation had a triple objective: to strengthen citizen security, prevent and combat drug microtrafficking in leisure environments, andEnsure compliance with labour and administrative regulations.
During the proceedings, seven premises were inspected and various checks and identifications were carried out. The end result was the arrest of three people: one for drug trafficking. At the administrative level, the Civil Guard and the Local Police made a significant number of complaints.
The Labour and Social Security Inspectorate verified thepossible breaches in the field of social security and employment, pending final confirmation.
These results reflect the importance of collaboration between institutions in crime prevention and in the protection of tourist areas.
