Within the framework of the Iberian Campaign on Emerging Risks of Climate Change and Circular Economy, during this week the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate (ITSS) will intensify the inspection actions on exposure to high temperatures, especially in outdoor activities.
Likewise, information, dissemination and awareness-raising actions will be carried out aimed at preventing occupational risks arising from exposure to extreme temperatures.
The inspection activities will focus on:
• Monitoring and control of compliance with current regulations on the prevention of occupational risks, with special attention to risk assessment and the implementation of the necessary preventive measures against exposure to high temperatures.
• The provision of technical assistance during the development of the inspection procedures.
