During her speech, the Director-General of the Labour and Social Security Inspectorate, Cristina Fernández, noted that "the 2025-2027 strategy plans to intensify the activity of the ITSS to guarantee equal pay, with the help of technology."
A few days before the celebration of International Day for Equal Pay, on September 18, Fernández participated in a round table on the gender pay gap and noted that "to advance equality we need awareness, training and courage to adopt the appropriate measures".
